Oh I LOVE jewellery stands and I mean practical and resonably priced jewellery stands. I have a few favourite stockists but one of the best is SBK Trade. You can find all of Brett’s great stock on his eBay store by going through his web site link http://www.sbktrade.com.au
The most popular stand that I have found for use at home is the Counter top display stand for earrings. It is really cheap, compact and is fantastic for long earrings. These are the ones that I always recommend to friends. So have a look at their web site – they have some fantastic display cases which are not only great for me as a business owner (especially with the expo coming up) but are also great for you all at home. They are usually available in a few colours like, blue, pink & clear but you will have to go online to see what they have in stock at any given time.
They are generally listed for about $6.95 + postage
Another favourite for those of you who have heaps of rings and no where to store them is the velvet covered ring display. It is narrow and will fit into your draw with all of your rings on display & no chance of you having to search for them again!

Blog Surfing for Art February 1, 2008
Friday is a great day to do some blog surfing. I used to do this on our old blog but have to admit I was not too consistent with it.
I can hear you saying “Does she know it is Saturday” well I do (I am not that crazy… yet) but I did write this yesterday, I was just having one of those joyous days with my internet connection so I decided I would just post it today.
I am loving what I have discovered ….. I was feeling a little arty farty so here goes.
Canberra based wedding and portrait photographer Robeccer McLean of Zhoosh Photography can show fairy’s with attitude. Check out her gorgeous Garden Fairy photographs of her beautiful daughters…
Belinda Lindhardt, an Australain artist & designer has posted a delightful artwork tited “Maxy’s Bubbles” which shows a little boy surrounded by bubbles. Knowing how much my children love to play with bubbles this picture drew me in emotionally. Belinda has used coloured pencils on drafting film and varnished it with a UV coating. This is an amazing piece of work Belinda.
If you are in the mood to kick back and check out some funky photos then you have to visit the Photography Anonymous Blog. I particularly like the Australia Day photos and love the shots of the birds in the McDonalds wrappers! This is one to heighten your senses and just enjoy.
Well with a dressmaking mother sewing was born into me… however my sewing skills did not quite develop like my mum’s did. I do however have an appreciation for it and while browsing Quilt Fabric Delight’s Blog I came across an interview that Sarah had done with Sandi from PortobelloPixie. This was the first time I had seen Sandi’s work and the Portobello Pixie range of couture kids clothing. Her designs are original and colourful and are definitely worth a peek!
